Megatron

In the film, Megatron appears as a Cybertronian jet.He appears very bio-mechanical. Nonetheless, he is still silver, has a helmet, heavily built shoulders and large legs, characteristics that mirror the G1 look. Likewise, as shown in the film, both of Megatron's arms can join together to form his iconic fusion cannon, and can transform his right arm into a steel flail, both helping keep some semblance to his original G1 form.





Starscream
Affiliation - Decepticon
Sub-Group - Deluxe Vehicles, Micro Vehicles, Voyagers
Motto - "Conquest is made of the ashes of one's enemies."
Alternate Modes - F-22 Raptor








Starscream transforms into a jet, in this case an F-22 Raptor. He is bulkier than most incarnations, due to the size of the Raptor combined with the lack of mass displacement. He maintains a simian body shape with a large, triangular chest, large shoulders formed by the jet's distinctive twin tails, long arms, and small bird-like feet. His chest is still formed by the jet's nose. The jet's powerful main engines end up on his back, allowing him to leap great heights into the air and take flight.






Blackout
Affiliation - Decepticon

Partner - Scorponok
Motto - "He who cares for the opinions of others is lost."
Alternate Modes - MH-53M Pave Low IV helicopter



Blackout transforms into an MH-53M Pave Low IV helicopter. According to screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, Blackout is the largest Decepticon, serving as transportation for the other group members. He is armed with arm-mounted Gatling cannons, and has the ability to disrupt electronic devices via EMP blasts. He is also able to detach and wield his tail rotor blades as a close-combat weapon.







Barricade
Affiliation - Decepticon
Sub-Group - Micro Vehicles, Deluxe Vehicles
Partner - Frenzy
Motto - "To Punish and Enslave"
Alternate Modes - Saleen S281E (modified to resemble a police car)







Barricade is a Decepticon, that transforms into a Saleen S281 patrol car. He is a hunter/scout of the Decepticons, choosing his vehicle mode to easily hide among the humans as a symbol of authority. His weapons include Gatling cannons and arm-mounted spikes, and he has a compartment in his chest where he stores Frenzy. When in car mode he can simulate the appearance of a human driver, the same holographic model that "pilots" Blackout and Starscream.






Bonecrusher
Affiliation - Decepticon
Sub-Group - Deluxe Vehicles
Alternate Modes - -Buffalo Armored Vehicle


Bonecrusher, as he appears in the 2007 movie, in vehicle is a Buffalo armored vehicle, manufactured by Force Protection Inc.. His feet are wheels, "skating" as opposed to running. His weapons include blades on his forearms, as well as a claw-like scoop at the end of a large telescopic arm. This claw is used in ordnance disposal on Buffalo armored vehicles.






Scorponok
Affiliation - Decepticon
Sub-Group - Deluxe Vehicles
Partner - Blackout
Alternate Modes - Mechanical Scorpion


Scorponok appears in the live-action Transformers film, directed by Michael Bay. His machine form is a mechanized scorpion. He is Blackout's ally, similar to the role that cassettes such as Ravage and Laserbeak served under Soundwave. His weapons include missiles, spinning pincers, a directed-energy weapon, and a set of large knives that represent the stinger on his tail.

Frenzy
Affiliation - Decepticon
Sub-Group - Micro Vehicles
Partner - Barricade
Motto - "Sow panic and surrender will bloom."
Alternate Modes - Boombox, Mobile phone (head)









In the film Frenzy is small, and very thin, standing at around 3 feet tall. His alternate mode is shown as a silver GPX boombox, with round speakers and blue diode-lights. When his head is detached, he scans a mobile phone belonging to Mikaela. His weapons include a small automatic weapon on each hand and CD-like shurikens that fire out of his chest. His character is manic, sometimes comedic, and he is the only Decepticon with blue colored optics, rather than the usual red.
